1. Candi Prambanan

Prambanan Temple is better known by tourists as Roro Jonggrang Temple. Prambanan Temple is connected to the legend of the love story of Bandung Bondowoso to Roro Jonggrang who was unrequited. Prambanan Temple was built in 850 AD and this famous temple consists of 3 main temples, namely Vishnu, Brahma, and Shiva temples. These three temples are also surrounded by 2 apit temples, 4 kelir temples, and 4 corner temples. The total of all the temples in this complex is about 224 units.

2. Candi Plaosan

This Hindu-Buddhist temple located in Yogyakarta is said to make couples who come to this temple last forever because it is said that this temple is a form of eternal love between 2 people of different faiths. Not only because the legend is captivating, but the place is beautiful with the view even though it is not as wide as other temples. The Plaosan Temple complex consists of Plaosan Lor Temple and Plaosan Kidul Temple. In the past, this temple complex was surrounded by a rectangular moat. The remains of the structure can still be seen today in the eastern and western parts of the temple.

3. Candi Ratu Boko

Located in the south of Prambanan Temple, perched gracefully Ratu Boko Temple. This temple complex has an area of about 25 hectares. The architecture of Ratu Boko Temple has its own differences from other temples, this temple is more like a former palace building. Not only can you enjoy the beauty of the temple architecture, but you can also watch a charming sunset in the morning. On the highest point in the site, there is a small pavilion from which one will be able to see a panoramic view of Prambanan temple with Mount Merapi as the background.

4. Candi Ijo

Hindu Shiva Temple is a thousand years old which signifies the wealth of Hinduism in the 9th-10th Century AD. Located on a hilltop at an altitude of 500m above sea level, it offers views across Jogjakarta. The location is at the top of the Breksi Cliff up again about 1 km. Perfect for sunset hunting when the weather is sunny and the atmosphere is cool because it is located at an altitude.
