Kampoeng Kopi Banaran, a tourist location in the middle of a coffee plantation in Semarang Regency, is getting more and more crowded. This place is indeed interesting because it is an agro tourism area covering an area of 39.11 hectares which is overgrown with Robusta coffee plants.

Kampoeng Kopi Banaran  is at an altitude of 480-600 meters above sea level, making this place hilly that has a steep path.  By driving a tourist jeep, the trail in the middle of the coffee plantation begins. The narrow asphalt road snaking between the coffee plants is slowly intruded. Unfortunately, at that time the coffee harvest was complete, so there were no ripe red coffee cherries. Only the lush lamtoro protected trees make the atmosphere cooler.

When it had just rained, this made the stone road even more slippery. Some jeeps were a little difficult to climb the incline. But all can be resolved thanks to the cooperation between the jeeps by pulling each other. Passengers can use this opportunity to take photos with various backgrounds.

Even if they had to be shaken on slippery roads, passengers can still enjoy the trip, because all the drivers of these field vehicles are experienced. In fact, while driving, they explained how the coffee is picked, then collected at the available shelters. From certain angles, visitors can see Rawa Pening in the distance.

Even if during the blossoming season, you will smell the fragrant aroma of coffee flowers. This 5-kilometer-long route is usually completed in about 40 minutes. There is a package at a cost of IDR 250,000 per car. As many as 4 passengers can walk along the path in the cool coffee plantation. If you are not satisfied, you can take the 1-hour package at a cost of IDR 500,000 for 4 to 5 passengers in one vehicle.

For visitors from out of town, getting to the location of Kampoeng Kopi Banaran is quite easy. The location is on the edge of the main Semarang-Solo highway. If you come from Semarang, then when you arrive at Bawen, Semarang Regency, the location of the coffee plantation is straight on the right.
