The new name, MORAZEN, is a fusion of two profound words, "MORA" from Latin, signifying "lingering" or "delaying," and "ZEN" from Japanese, denoting tranquility. MORAZEN can also depict a hotel offering a luxurious and serene lodging experience. MORAZEN Surabaya will operate as a 4-star independent hotel following the best practices of international hotel operators.
Litania U., the Marketing Communications & Public Relations Manager, added that the hotel's rebranding includes the renaming of its two dining outlets. Palatier Restaurant is an all-day dining concept located on the 6th floor, previously known as Grandin Restaurant. Additionally, Laviere Bar and Lounge is on the 21st floor, formerly recognized as Preveire 21.
