Celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival with Flower Arranging at Shangri-La Surabaya
This year, Shangri-La Surabaya is celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival with the theme "The Ties That Bind," offering a unique collection of mooncakes and a variety of events running through September. One of the main attractions of these events is the flower arranging art class on July 26, 2024.
The flower arranging class goes beyond the decorative aspect of beautiful floral arrangements by also exploring their profound meanings. Each flower is carefully selected to symbolize traditional values such as fertility, happiness, and family harmony. The flowers are meticulously positioned to create a visually stunning harmony while exuding the peaceful atmosphere characteristic of the Mid-Autumn Festival.
Regina, an instructor from Reine De Fleur, will patiently share her detailed knowledge of creating beautiful flower arrangements. This event not only provides a unique gastronomic experience but also revives cherished cultural values. The combination of delicious mooncakes and beautiful flower arrangements ensures a memorable day for the guests.
The Mid-Autumn Festival at Shangri-La Surabaya runs until September 22, 2024. Kamal S., Director of Food and Beverage at Shangri-La Surabaya, explained that the event has been meticulously planned to make it feel special. “Yes, it’s not just the event; we’ve also designed the mooncake collection and the lobby decorations around the same theme. We invite guests to take photos with the interactive decorations, where they can step inside and capture memorable moments,” he said when interviewed in the lobby of Shangri-La Surabaya.
