Partnering with SMK St. Louis Surabaya (Vocational High School of St. Louis Surabaya), the hotel hosted an innovative and educational event titled “Kids Fun Tech” on January 18, 2025.

This special program was designed to introduce children to the world of technology in a fun and engaging manner, fostering creativity and critical thinking while strengthening ties between education and the hospitality industry. The “Kids Fun Tech” event provided an inspiring environment where children were encouraged to explore technology through interactive games and activities. By engaging in hands-on experiments, participants not only gained new knowledge but also learned to think creatively and understand the practical applications of technology in daily life.

Aurelius Wardono, IT Manager at Sheraton Surabaya, expressed his enthusiasm for the program, saying, “Through this initiative, we hope to offer children not only valuable knowledge but also a unique and memorable experience. Adding to the excitement of the day, Sheraton Surabaya introduced its first-ever thematic coffee break, inspired by a Movie Theater theme. This creative concept was launched specifically during the “Kids Fun Tech” event to align with its youthful audience. The Movie Theater-themed coffee break was designed to make meeting breaks more refreshing and memorable, offering attendees a chance to recharge in a playful and imaginative setting.
