Following a successful and heartfelt opening show in Bandung, the much-anticipated SAMA SAMA Tour continues its musical journey to the city of Surabaya. On May 11, 2025, the stage at Jatim Expo will welcome five of Indonesia’s beloved musicians Dere, Idgitaf, Kunto Aji, Sal Priadi, and Tulus as they bring their shared vision of a collaborative and emotional performance to life.
SAMA SAMA Tour continues its musical journey to the city of Surabaya
What makes the SAMA SAMA Tour stand out is not only the individual talent of each artist, but the way they come together on stage. In addition to their solo performances, the musicians will present special duets, group performances, and surprise collaborations. Audiences can expect to see their favorite songs reimagined in new ways, with artists performing each other’s works and creating exclusive arrangements that will only be experienced live during this tour.
Tiur Tobing, Business Manager of Tiga Dua Satu and the Project Leader of the SAMA SAMA Tour, shared her hopes for the Surabaya audience to enjoy the show to the fullest and experience the same joy and connection felt during the Bandung performance.
While the musical arrangements will remain mostly consistent, Kunto Aji hinted that the Surabaya show will include new interaction elements between the artists and the audience, aiming to create a more personal and memorable atmosphere. Idgitaf also emphasized the importance of preparation, particularly in maintaining vocal stamina and emotional delivery. After learning from her experience in Bandung, she is now more focused on refining her material to deliver a performance that is both powerful and sincere. She also expressed her hope that the warmth and unity felt in Bandung will also be present in Surabaya.
Surabaya offers a new space for heartfelt interactions between the artists and their fans. The concert will feature a dynamic stage format, ranging from solos to duets, trios, and even full quintets allowing each performance to flow organically and authentically. The SAMA SAMA Tour is more than just a concert; it’s a musical journey filled with emotions, shared stories, and powerful connections between artists and their audience.
After Surabaya, the tour will continue to Yogyakarta on May 17, 2025, at Grand Pacific, and will conclude in Bogor on May 24, 2025, at Sentul International Convention Center (SICC).
