ArtSubs Brings ‘Ways of Dreaming’ to Surabaya’s Art Scene
Held at the historic Pos Bloc, the exhibition venue itself adds a rich cultural dimension to the event. Originally Surabaya’s Central Post Office, Pos Bloc was also once home to the renowned Hoogere Burgerschool, where Indonesia’s first president, Ir. Soekarno, received part of his early education. Positioned in Surabaya’s Kota Lama area, the venue stands near the iconic Jembatan Merah, a symbol deeply tied to Indonesia’s Heroic Day on November 10, 1945. This choice of venue offers visitors an immersive experience that bridges art with history.
