Hotel Ciputra World Surabaya once again brings a world-class dining experience through The Gallery Take Over 2.0, featuring renowned Indonesian chef Vindex Tengker. This exclusive collaboration invites guests to enjoy an unforgettable gastronomic journey filled with authentic flavors from across the globe. The special event took place at The Gallery Restaurant on Friday, 28 November 2025, starting from 6 p.m., where guests were guided through a series of dishes inspired by international culinary traditions.

Chef Vindex, whose expertise extends far beyond Indonesia and into the international culinary scene, worked closely with the hotel’s Culinary Team to present an exclusive buffet dinner themed Flame Fiesta Buffet Dinner. The word “Flame” represents not only the use of fire in cooking but also the mastery of professional techniques that transform raw ingredients into exceptional flavors. Meanwhile, “Fiesta” symbolizes the celebration of diverse tastes as well as the 11th anniversary of Hotel Ciputra World Surabaya.


The evening showcased more than 35 dishes, ranging from appetizers and main courses to an impressive selection of desserts designed to satisfy culinary enthusiasts. Chef Vindex, together with Dale, the Executive Chef of Hotel Ciputra World Surabaya, opened the night by introducing several signature dishes prepared especially for this celebration. They then continued to the open kitchen area for live cooking demonstrations, presenting dishes such as Moroccan lamb rack served with pilaf rice, Mexican beef ribs paired with tortilla and salsa, and Sicilian fish stew accompanied by boiled penne pasta. Another highlight of the evening was the classic English beef wellington, followed by Texas-style grilled mixed sausages and whole grilled Nusantara fish served with a variety of traditional Indonesian sambals, from colo-colo to matah and dabu-dabu.


Guests were also treated to an extensive selection of international main courses, including Indian chicken vindaloo, Chinese-style Gallery beef black pepper, Roma garlic spaghetti from Italy, caprese mac and cheese inspired by French flavors and the golden bite cobb from Texas, USA. To end the meal on a sweet note, the live dessert station presented a delightful American classic, banana foster with vanilla ice cream, along with more than 20 varieties of French pastries such as strawberry pavlova, opera cake, macarons, éclairs, mango mousse and the iconic swan craqueline. The celebration was complemented by refreshing beverages, including sangria, tropical fizz and acaraki spices sparkling, all crafted fresh for the evening. Lucky guests also had the opportunity to enjoy a selection of wine.
