These captivating illustrations adorn the elegant mooncake boxes, setting the tone for the grand opening ceremony on August 8, 2024, at the Pavilion Restaurant.
The festivities started with the melodious strains of the Guzheng, a traditional Chinese musical instrument, setting a cultural ambiance. Following this, an exclusive fashion show will feature models adorned in sophisticated Chinese attire designed by the renowned Surabaya designer, Lily S. and stunning hair piece from Le Ciel Design. The models, draped in intricately carved floral cheongsams, will grace the runway carrying hampers of mooncakes titled "The Moonlit Blossom."
Guests were treated to an array of exquisite mooncakes, ranging from snow skin varieties like musang king, matcha-cream cheese chocolate truffle, umeshu lemon cake, and strawberry chocolate truffle, to baked mooncakes including green tea, red bean tangerine, white lotus, black sesame, red date & walnut, osmanthus flower, and cranberries. These delightful treats are available starting at IDR 158,000++ per piece.
Enhancing the evening’s splendor, the venue will be transformed with a garden backdrop adorned with twinkling LED lights, creating a magical and harmonious atmosphere. Adding to the culinary delight, Chef Chong L. F., the Dim Sum Chef & Banquet Culinary Art expert from Tang Palace - Chinese Restaurant, collaborated with Eliawati E., a Tea Master from Dilmah Tea present a perfect tea pairing to complement each flavor of the mooncake crafted by the talented Chef Affat.
