Inspired by the cultural diversity and culinary delights of the Nusantara kingdoms, Vasa Hotel invites guests to enjoy dishes traditionally savored by the rulers of the Nusantara. The 9 Kingdoms featured as the menu for this year's breaking of the fast include prosperous Islamic kingdoms of their time, some of which still stand today.

Starting from the westernmost kingdom on the Indonesian map, Samudra Pasai, renowned for its Acehnese Crab Noodles. Then there's Rendang Beef, traditionally served in Minangkabau during customary celebrations like feasts, welcoming honored guests, various Minang customs, and so forth. Moving slightly southward, there's the kingdom of Lampung with its Lampung Baung Fish, a warm broth fish dish colored yellow or clear.

Crossing the Java Sea to the next island, there's the Betawi Fish Pecak, a specialty of the Sultanate of Banten. Still on the same island, there's the Sultanate of Yogyakarta with its Gudeg, Krecek, Opor Ayam, and Santan Areh dishes, often part of special royal events. Moving eastward, there's the kingdom of Demak with its Kudus Soto, a favorite dish of the kings, then the Majapahit kingdom with its Nguling Rawon, a special dish for royal events. One of the special dishes is Roasted Lamb, prepared with Indonesian spices, said to be a symbol of the prosperity of Java, formerly used by the Kings to entertain their honored guests.

Crossing the sea from Bali to the Sultanate of West Nusa Tenggara, there's the Ayam Taliwang dish, which holds a history of peace through its flavors. The Selaparang and Karangasem Kingdoms initially engaged in war, but with the arrival of the Taliwang Kingdom as a mediator, then presenting Ayam Taliwang as a diplomatic approach to the King of Karangasem, unexpectedly liked by the King, thus creating the peace.

Moving to the island of Sulawesi, which boasts Coto Makassar as its flagship dish, often served for the kings in Makassar, especially during traditional ceremonies. Then crossing the sea from Sulawesi across the Makassar Strait to the island of Kalimantan, there's the Sultanate of Banjar with its signature Banjar Soto dish, which is said to have been brought by the Demak army when providing assistance to the Sultanate of Banjar.

In addition to the authentic Nusantara menu, 209 Dining also offers a variety of other dishes such as Briyani Rice, Lamb Leg, Shawarma, Pecking Duck, Chicken Kofta, Lamb Shish, Kebuli Rice, and many more.

This all-you-can-eat Ramadan Buffet can be enjoyed starting from Rp299,000,-nett/person. Additionally, Vasa Hotel also offers Hampers packages starting from Rp889,000,-nett/box and stay packages starting from Rp1,209,000,-/night.
