Jenderal Kopi opened its second outlet on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at Jalan L. L. R. E. Martadinata No. 219 Bandung. This opening applies strict health protocols according to the Covid -19 procedure. The Soft Opening was attended by Komjen. Pol. (Purn) Drs. Budi Waseso as the owner of Jenderal Kopi. This second outlet was built by maintaining the existing old Dutch heritage building site as a flagship store that is identical to the modern roasting process. Modern roasting processes are directly demonstrated and favor roasting processes accurately according to the best profile of Indonesian coffee beans.

The opening of the second General Kopi Nusantara outlet aims to further introduce and educate the public on the productivity, science and creativity of various types of Indonesian coffee. This is supported by the coffee academy educational facilities to educate the public, especially the younger generation, in processing coffee beans to serve the best Indonesian coffee. In achieving the vision and mission, Jenderal Kopi always conducts research and collaborates with a number of experts in the coffee sector so that it is expected to become a standard and proof of the quality of Indonesian coffee.

The establishment of Jenderal Kopi itself was started a few years ago, where Komjen. Pol. Budi Waseso was on duty in Aceh and found illegal marijuana fields belonging to residents. Because of his love for coffee, he turned these illegal fields into coffee fields as a form of dedication to the state through educating the local community. In this process, he wants the various coffee products from Indonesia to be enjoyed and recognized by the wider community, both at home and abroad. This is the reason behind the emergence of the Jenderal Kopi brand which focuses on serving the best Indonesian coffee from selected high quality beans.
