The Alana Hotel Sentul City, commonly known as The Alana Sentul, is delighted to announce the appointment of Reggie Kaihatu as the new Executive Chef. Reggie will be responsible for overseeing the menus and staff of operations at the main restaurant of the hotel, Vertikal Sky Lounge, the banquet kitchen, and in-room dining.
Reggie Kaihatu began his career in 2004 and passed a six-month apprenticeship in Sheraton Hotel Surabaya and Gran Melia hotels. In 2005, Reggie continued his culinary journey in several five-star hotels in Jakarta, followed by Bali, where he perfected his skills in Fairmont Sanur Beach Bali, acting as the executive chef.
“It’s an honor to accept the opportunity to join with The Alana Hotel Sentul City team, and I am looking forward to bringing new and extraordinary culinary experiences to The Alana Hotel Sentul City’s food scene. I can’t wait to share them with our guests,” said Chef Reggie.
Before joining The Alana Hotel Sentul City, Chef Reggie most recently acted as Executive Chef at Sentul Highland Golf Club, Altitude Jakarta, and several five-star hotels. Chef Reggie brings more than 15 years of culinary experience to The Alana Hotel Sentul City.
