As a manifestation of the idealism for organizing jazz events that can be enjoyed by all groups, the Jazz Goes To Campus (JGTC) continues to be held in this 41st year. Every year, the JGTC offers more than just a jazz music festival. This program has succeeded in accommodating the development of people in the music industry who dedicate themselves to jazz music and the music community. The series of JGTC begins with the JGTC Opening and Press Conference, JGTC Talkshow, JGTC Band Competition, JGTC Roadshow To Semarang, JGTC Gathering and Charity Night, JGTC Community Night, and closed by the highlight of the event, JGTC Festival.
In 2018, the 41st Jazz Goes To Campus Festival will be held on December 2nd, 2018 at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Indonesia. In addition to presenting famous Indonesian musicians, JGTC Festival also presents another highlighted events, such as JGTC Jazz Museum and JGTC Choice Awards. The 41st Jazz Goes To Campus carries the theme Bring The Jazz On! which departs from the spirit to maintain the existence of Jazz in Indonesia. The theme is also hoped to bring more of the Jazz spirit from to all music lovers in Indonesia.
