Whether you’re hunting down new spots on the Jakarta food scene or just simply looking to switch things up to add your culinary references, here’s your guide to new restaurants in Jakarta to check out this February 2022.

Opening its second international venture and its fourth branch worldwide, the team behind the acclaimed Michelin star restaurant Burnt Ends, the Burnt Ends Hospitality Group, and Chef-Owner Dave Pynt brings Meatsmith to Jakarta – a real-deal barbecue that exists outside of America’s traditional barbecue heartlands using heat, char, smoke, and the grill. Meatsmith explores the various cultures, cooking techniques, and flavors. The food reflects a casual, big flavored, and family-friendly style and has a curated beverage list to complement the cuisine with an artisanal wine list, craft beers, classic cocktails, and extensive spirit collections that feature whiskies and bourbons.
