Social Welfare Committee Meeting

The Social Welfare Committee is a team of dedicated volunteers who want to make a difference during their stay in Jakarta. The meeting happens monthly to discuss ongoing projects and always welcome new members. The members usually meet on the second Tuesday of every month at 9.30am at ANZA House*.

7. Women’s International Club (WIC)

52nd WIC Annual Charity Bazaar

Women’s International Club (WIC) Jakarta has the purpose of providing women of all nationalities with the opportunity to meet each other and make friends, share ideas and cultures, with respect and understanding. Among other activities available to its members, WIC has an annual charity bazaar.

This year, the organization is planning to have its 52nd WIC Annual Charity Bazaar on Thursday, 12 December 2019. Held at Jakarta Convention Center, Jalan Gatot Subroto Jakarta, the bazaar will feature various embassy stalls and local exhibits. Themed “Shop with an impact”, visitors can enjoy a vast selection of fashion, handicrafts and jewelry and international food and beverages.

Food and Agriculture Committee Year-End Meeting

Join the final Food and Agriculture Committee meeting of the year. The meeting will give you updates on pressing issues such as mandatory halal certification, the Water Bill, plastic waste, the EU dairy trade war, and many more. As the lineup of President Jokowi’s second-term cabinet has been announced, key focuses relating to the food and agriculture industry will be highlighted as well. The event will also review the committee’s activities over the past year and set a potential advocacy agenda for 2020.
