ANZA Melbourne Cup Charity Brunch

Australia & New Zealand Association (ANZA) is a not-for-profit volunteer-run organization welcoming people of all nationalities. The biggest horse racing event in Australia is held on the first Tuesday of November every year at the beautiful Flemington Race Course in Melbourne. It’s a part of the Aussie culture to stop and watch this race and we celebrate it here in Jakarta too.

DIY – Learn how to transfer photos to wood and canvas

When: 20 – 21 November | 10 am & 12 pm

Learn how to transfer a photo to wood using mailing labels. The transfer is on 20 November and it dries overnight. It will then be finished on the next day. You will also learn how to transfer a photo to the canvas using Modge Podge or gel medium as scheduled above. Participants will be supplied with a piece of wood and canvas but will need to bring two pictures they would like to use. A WhatsApp group will be created for more specifics.

**Special Class Note: Participants will need to commit to both days to complete the class.

HR Committee Meeting – speaker series

The Human Resources (HR) Committee has a three-prong approach to improving the dialogue for AmCham members. The first is in relation to knowledge sharing. Here regular breakfast meetings are conducted to bring forward the latest trends around HR laws and management issues from leaders in the profession in Indonesia. The second prong is in knowledge creation. The focus here is on semi-annual workshops on emerging regulations and cooperation with organizations like Apindo and ILO promoting AmCham views as established in the workshops. The third area is knowledge management. This area focuses on providing knowledge to people on HR issues about laws or general questions of common interest in HR matters developed over time.
