The fresh and enchanting take on the beloved holiday classic crafted by acclaimed playwright, Tom Mula, will take the stage at The American Club Jakarta from 6-8th December 2024.

Jacob Marley’s Christmas Carol reimagines Charles Dickens' timeless tale of redemption and goodwill, following the journey of a miserly character who discovers the true meaning of Christmas through a series of whimsical encounters. Marley’s script infuses humour and warmth into the narrative via the character of Bogle, making it a perfect festive experience for families, friends, and theatre enthusiasts.

Jakarta Players' veteran David Knowles will be Ebenezer Scrooge, alongside Rakaputra Paputungan as Bogle and Indira Prana as the Record Keeper. Up to 18 vibrant characters are brought to life and the fascinating three-dimensional stages are poised to facilitate a magical ambience capturing the season’s spirit.
