Tasmanian Salmon Ceviche

On our visit, we were served with some of the restaurant’s highlighted dishes. From appetizing starter, mouthwatering main courses, fresh drinks, to the delectable dessert, we experienced the flavors from around the world. For starter, Social Garden offers a quite interesting selection and we tried the Tasmanian Salmon Ceviche. It’s a salmon with ikura and spicy mayo which gave such a fresh flavor and a hint of sourness. The salmon was so fresh, as well as expectedly soft and chewy. Still a starter, we also tried the Miso-Glazed Carrot which gave an engaging taste. It’s a smoked carrot glazed with brown sugar miso, served with baba ganoush and walnut pesto. With that unique combination, the flavor blends in perfectly in the mouth. So appetizing!

Pumpkin Ricotta Agnolotti
Wagyu Bibimbab Bowl

Following the starter, we then tried the place’s best pasta selection, Pumpkin Ricotta Agnolotti. It’s an agnolotti with pumpkin filling, served with pumpkin sauce, grated cheese, and grilled mushroom. We love how the pasta had a perfect thickness and texture. The pumpkin filling also went perfectly with the savory and chewy mushroom. Continued our meal, we tried the scrumptious Wagyu Bibimbab Bowl. Unlike Korean-style bibimbap, this dish is more like a Japanese-style rice bowl. It’s a bowl of seasoned rice, topped with wagyu beef yakiniku, poached egg, ikura, nori, scallions, and beef floss. Such a new combination of a rice bowl and we loved it so much. It has this sweet-savory taste, with a hint of spiciness from the sprinkled chili powder.

Garden Specialteas

All of our delightful meal was ended with some of the place’s best freshener. From the cold and crisp Strawberry Fizz to the healing Herbal and Exotic Garden Specialteas. We also tried the eye-catching Hummingbird, a gin-based cocktail with fresh snap peas and mint.
