Acclaimed Michelin Star Master Chef Greg Malouf showcased the Art of Mezza in addition to award-winning Le Méridien Jakarta’s Signature Lebanese Restaurant Al Nafoura with his masterpiece cuisine from 6 June to 31 July 2022.

The opening night was directly hosted by the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy of the Republic of Indonesia, Sandiaga Uno, who said: “Tonight’s event to make Indonesia a gastronomic destination, the Indonesia Spice of The World program has the honour with Le Meridien Jakarta, we have a Michelin star chef, Greg Malouf,”

The Opening Ceremony

Chef Greg and Al Nafoura embrace authentic Middle Eastern cuisine, complemented by a modern presentation. Guests can now enjoy a culinary journey through Lebanon featuring the most popular signature dishes, including Silky Hummus with baby French lentil salad and Malouf Signature Kibbeh, a salmon tartare dish with cracked wheat. Some cold starters you find are Malouf’s Mezza, Smoky Moutabbal, Avocado & Homemade Lebanese Cheese Salad, and Summer Tabouleh in the Cold Mezza section.

For something warm, you can taste the greatness of Haloumy & Fontina Cheese fondue with oregano, figs, and Turkish milk bread, Lamb Fatayer, Chicken Liver, Malouf’s Ma’hanie, and Baby Squid from the Hot Mezza section.

When it comes to signature mains, the Malouf Lamb Ouzi – slow-cooked lamb shoulder, cooked on the bone with Baharat spices, preserved lemons and stuffed kousa from the Main Dishes section is a must try. Other notable dish you have to savor is the unique B’stilla Duck which serves Morocco’s celebrated duck B’stilla with sweet spices, icing sugar, and almonds for the crunchy texture. Other delicious mains like Kataifi Chicken, Red Snapper, and Eggplant & Pumpkin Tagine are ready to pamper your taste buds.

For the sweet ending, Chef Greg has curated the delightful unique take on Pavlova and Tiramisu. Others like Hand of Fatima, the chocolate and date cake with passion fruit, mahalabia, and Iranian candy floss along with Malouf Kunafa, baked kataifi, apricot confit, sweet cheese and rose syrup are available on the dessert menu.


Taste this magnificent set of menu from Monday to Sunday during the lunch service from 12:00 to 15:00 and dinner service from 18:00 to 22:00.
