Bakmi, means ‘meat noodle’ in Hokkien Chinese, referring to a bowl of wheat noodle, topped with minced or cuts of cooked chicken, pork or beef. 1. Bakmi Bintang Gading
If you’re familiar of the way the bakmi in Makassar is like, than you have an idea what this bakmi is like; with large cuts of boiled chicken and roasted pork. 2. Bakmi Karet Krekot
A simple Bakmi Ayam Karet (‘rubber’ noodles), that got the name from its slightly larger and chewier than usual noodles, topped with shredded chicken and green onions, and served with a serving of fragrant chicken broth. Simple yet incredibly satisfying.
