Eastern Opulence is your perfect place for a small to grand occasions. As well as a restaurant where you can savor delicate Indonesian authentic dishes with a fine dining concept.
The lavish yet friendly ambiance
Eastern Opulence is always popular for its lavishness, especially the pretty interior concept. When the place was first designed, the architect composed all his ideas while keeping the utmost respect for the beauty and complexity of colonial architecture. Then it was built with meticulous details and filled with valuable antiques as we can see now in awe. High ceiling, huge pillars, marble floor, fascinating paintings, and antique decorations. Along with its lavish ambiance, Eastern Opulence also brings such a friendly, homey, and very approachable atmosphere. Complemented by its excellent services, this place is a perfect place where you can enjoy your dining or gathering in the most comfortable and warm way.

Modern Asian signatures
This marked as Eastern Opulence’s new lively concept which is claimed to be the talk of the town already. This concept offers Asian delicacies fused together with modern cooking techniques from across the world. The whole menu comes from the joint efforts of two talented chefs, they are Chef Kevin Zhu and Chef Aj. Chef Zhu explained that he aims to feature the Indonesian authentic flavor while fits with everyone’s palate.
On our last visit, we tried three of the place’s highlighted dishes, Jimbaran Lobster, Wagyu with Blackpepper Sauce, and Serundeng Lamb Rack. Jimbaran Lobster is a fresh caught Bamboo Lobster grilled with special Jimbaran butter. Served with crispy kalian and garlic butter baby potato. Inspired by Bali traditional cuisine, you can expect a rich savory flavor with the right amount of spiciness. It goes along perfectly with the sweet lobster meat in which bring a pleasant experience in your mouth. Something you want more and more after the first bite. Even the sides are to-die-for! The crispy kailan will make you addicted to it, while the potato is just simply a bomb.
As we thought it could be the best dish ever, we then tried the Serundeng Lamb Rack which was truly memorable. It is sous vide medium well Australian lamb rack, glazed with spicy sauce and Balinese sambal. Big appreciation to this dish as the lamb meat is so tender yet juicy, thanks to the right sous vide technique used in the cooking process. This technique also successfully reduces the unpleasant lamb smell, so it is very safe if you have a sensitive palate. The sweet and spicy sauce also plays a big part to make this dish shines, as well as the Balinese sambal which will give a pleasant punch with its spiciness. This is a type of dish which could be the reason you must come back to Eastern Opulence.
Finished with those 2 winners, we’re moving on to one of the restaurant’s proudest dishes, Wagyu with Blackpepper Sauce. It is crispy wagyu cube-cuts, drizzled with Chinese style black pepper sauce. Using high-quality wagyu, we can assure you that the meats will be melted in your mouth. Even better, the soft and crispy coating compliments the meat as it is so savory and seasoned really well. We also love how the sauce brings together the whole elements into something very authentic yet modern. It has a rich flavor with a sweet, spicy, and savory taste, balanced with shredded spring onions and seasoned vegetables. We complete our experience with the highlighted mocktail, Hawaiian Sunset. It’s a pineapple juice mixed with syrup and orange pulp.
