THREE CHEFS PRESENT RAMADAN FAMILY RECIPES FROM
THEIR REGIONS OF ORIGIN AT THE RITZ-CARLTON JAKARTA,
Highlighting delights from Java, Sunda and Manado during the whole month of Ramadan 2021
As the holy month of Ramadan approaches, Asia Restaurant, located in the lobby of The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, Mega Kuningan presents three (3) authentic dishes from Sunda, Java and Manado whereby each region is represented by three (3) local chefs, Chef Utoyo Kusriyanto who was raised in Pangandaran, West Java, Chef Rory Randy Paulus from Manado and last Chef Suharyatno from Klaten, Central Java.
Starting from IDR 388,000++ from Monday to Thursday and IDR 468,000++ from Friday to Sunday, Asia Restaurant presents various highlighted dishes from Java, Sunda and Manado throughout the month of Ramadan such as;
Chef Utoyo Kusriyanto will be presenting his Sundanese delights such as; Nasi Liwet Cianjur, Pepes Ikan, Empal Gepuk, Ayam Goreng Lengkuas, Lalapan and special Sambal Tomat, those of which are his family recipes inherited from his great grandmother.
Also inspired by the inherited family recipes, Chef Rory Randy Paulus will present Nasi Gurih Daun Jeruk, Sate Ayam Woku, Tongkol Dabu-Dabu, Bakwan Jagung, Sayur Daun Pepaya and Sambal Rica for all the guests during Ramadan 2021.
Chef Suharyatno will present Nasi Merah, Tongseng Kambing, Cumi Oseng, Sate Ayam Ponorogo, Perkedel Daging and Sambal Ebi. All of these recipes were passed down to him from his very own beloved mother.
Also, the chefs are preparing three (3) besek boxes which inspired from their origins with all the prices starting from IDR 248,000 net :Javanese ‘Besek’ Box
Nasi Kuning, Serundeng Daging, Sambal Goreng Kentang, Sate Telor Puyuh,
Ayam Bakar Kalasan, Sate Pentul (Kambing), Tahu Berontak, Jangan Lombok Ijo,
Sate Udang Goreng Tepung, Oreg Kacang Teri, Rempeyek Kacang,
Perkedel Kentang, Sambal Matah, Ramadan Kukis.
Manadonese ‘Besek’ Box
Nasi Jaha, Bebek Masak Paniki, Daging Woku, Sate Ragey (Ayam),
Oseng Bunga Papaya, Cumi Bakar Rica, Bakwan Jagung, Sate Udang Dabu-Dabu,
Sayur So’un, Rodo Rica (Jagung, Terong, Kacang Panjang), Ayam Tinorangsak,
Sambal Matah, Ramadan Kukis.
Sundanese ‘Besek’ Box
Nasi Liwet, Sate Ikan, Empal Gepuk, Sambal Terasi, Kerupuk Udang, Perkedel,
Sambal Tomat, Lumpia, Sate Udang Jumbo, Ikan Bakar Kuning, Ayam Bakar,
Sate Ayam, Lalapan, Sambal Matah, Ramadan Kukis.

During Ramadan 2021, guests can have 5-star experience in the spacious Grand Room of The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, Mega Kuningan which inclusive in-room sahoor breakfast & The Heritage of Ramadan Breakfasting dinner for two (2) persons at Asia Restaurant which prepared by Chef Utoyo, Chef Rory and Chef Suharyatno.
