To honor International Disability Day on December 3rd, the Helping Hands Foundation is organizing InclusiFest 2020 a virtual event to be held from December 1st to 5th, 2020 via Zoom and YouTube Live. This event will feature educational, interactive, and entertaining activities with a focus on three main topics: Education, Wellness, and Arts, hosted by public figures both from the disabled community, and non-disabled figures.

“We want to increase public awareness about inclusiveness towards the disabled community, through inspirational sharing sessions and direct interaction with individuals with disabilities,” said Wendy Kusumowidagdo, Executive Director of Helping Hands Foundation.

The Helping Hands Foundation is a foundation with a mission to promote the values ​​of inclusiveness through various character development programs that bring together the worlds of disabilities and non-disabled people.

InclusiFest 2020 will feature Live Talkshow/Webinar and interactive Workshop classes such as Blind Make Up workshops, Blind Adventure, Sign Language class, Stand Up Comedy.

“We will also try to break the record for “400 Hours of Inclusive InterAction “, by bringing together 400 individuals from the disabled community with non-disabled people in 1 on 1 deep-talk dialogue for 1 hour,” added Wendy.

The event will be opened by Angkie Yudistia, special staff to President of Indonesia, and feature  Ananda Sukarlan (Pianist & Activist), and Asep Sukmayadi as panelists. 

Being an inclusive event, InklusiFest 2020 is open to the public. Registration can be made online bit.ly/InklusiFest2020, and all proceedings of the registration fee will be allocated to Helping Hands Foundation’s disability empowerment program which includes scholarships for disabled students.
