Coinciding with the holy month of Ramadan 1445 H, Friday, March 15 2024, The Westlake Resort Yogyakarta held the event "Breaking the Fast with the Sinar Melati Yogyakarta Foundation" which took place at Kelapa Resto, The Westlake Resort Yogyakarta.
The event, which was attended by all levels of management and employees of The Westlake Resort, invited 50 orphans from Yayasan Sinar Melati. The event opened with a reading of the holy Al-quran by representatives from Yayasan Sinar Melati. Then continued with remarks from Muhamad Renzo as General Manager of The Westlake Resort Yogyakarta and remarks from the Foundation. Apart from that, there were also Hadroh performances as well as games and giving door prizes to orphans. The Westlake Resort Yogyakarta also provided compensation to orphans from Yayasan Sinar Melati. The symbolic handover of compensation was given by Muhamad Renzo as General Manager of The Westlake Resort Yogyakarta.
The purpose of holding this event is to strengthen brotherhood and friendship. As well as facilitating Muslim employees and Muslim women in carrying out worship in the holy month of Ramadan with positive activities. Apart from that, this activity also reminds us all to be grateful. Because at this time we are still given the opportunity and ability to share with those whom Allah loves so much, namely with the orphans from Yayasan Sinar Melati.

May our good intentions through today's event be blessed by Allah SWT. "And hopefully in the future The Westlake Resort Yogyakarta can spread more goodness to the environment and surrounding communities," said Muhamad Renzo, General Manager of The Westlake Resort Yogyakarta, closing his remarks.
