Vasa Hotel Surabaya has celebrated the occasion of welcoming Christmas and New Year 2023 with the theme "The Whispers Of Woodland," starting from November 3rd to December 2023. In this remarkable transformation, the lobby of Vasa Hotel Surabaya has been turned into a charming forest, full of lush trees and carpenter's houses celebrating the Christmas festivities.
Roberto, Cluster General Manager of Vasa Hotel & Tanly Hospitality, stated, "We aim to offer a different experience every year in Surabaya, and for this year, we have chosen the 'woodland' theme full of beauty, mystery, and wonder. We want Christmas and New Year 2023 to feel truly special."
The main focal point in the decoration is the carpenter's house situated amidst a crowd of tall trees in the hotel's lobby area. This house serves as a gathering place for the Aviosa fairies who are getting ready for the Christmas and New Year celebrations. Visitors can see various traditional Christmas decorations inside the carpenter's house, such as the Christmas tree and a variety of Christmas treats, including gingerbread. The surrounding trees provide shelter and play areas for the Aviosa fairies.
To kick off this festive season, Vasa Hotel Surabaya held a Tree Lighting Ceremony, where the lights in the lobby area were simultaneously lit, accompanied by the Blessing Voice Choir's children's choir. This event marks the start of the Christmas celebration and carries a symbolic meaning that kindles hope.
The series of celebratory events continues until the end of the year in the Grand Ballroom of Vasa Hotel Surabaya. The event will feature various performances, including Keisya Levronka, M. Nur Aziz, and a special performance by the Raminten Cabaret Show, along with many other performers.
