As one of Ismaya Group’s newest establishments, Djournal House has already successfully made a name for itself by having Indonesia’s Best Bartender 2019, Jakob Manurung, awarded by Diageo World Class.

After winning the coveted title in Indonesia World Class Competition 2019 held in Sugarsand Bali last May ,Jakob is set to
represent Indonesia as he competes in the Diageo World Class Competition Final 2019 in Glasgow, Scotland this September.
As the biggest bartending competition out there, Diageo World Class has played a pivotal role in the cocktail culture all around the world. The final round which will take place in the Scottish capital of Glasgow is World Class’s 11th edition of the prestigious competition. 50 finalists from all over the world will compete in a series of rigorous mini challenges over the course of 7 days from the 21st- 28th September 2019.

Each contestant will show their skills in mixing drinks using the finest spirits from Diageo.
Celebrating the success of winning the national finals in Bali last May, Djournal House brings both Jakobs’s winning drinks from the 1st-30th September 2019.

Pushing creative boundaries to mixing drinks, the two drinks will be sold for a limited time only for the price of IDR135K per drink. The two winning drinks are:

1. Dark Roast ( Whisky based coffee cocktail, light herbaceous and fruity with a fizzy texture and orange sunkist on top)

2. Floridus Citri (Gin based, sweet and chocolatey taste with camomile mixers for a touch of spice, and lemon with edible flowers)
