First joining ARTOTEL Group back in August 2015 as Marketing Communications Manager, Yulia Maria started her career in the company by leading the Marketing Communications Division. And as the company grew, her position did too, in August 2017, she was promoted as Assistant Director of Marketing Communications. Yulia Maria as the leader of Marketing Communications Division, she is what the company called ‘’SPEARHEAD’’ for all 4 pillars of ARTOTEL Group which are Stay (all hotels), Dine (F&B industry), Mart (official merchandise), and Play (event management). As per January 2020, Yulia Maria has been appointed as the first Director or Marketing Communications of ARTOTEL Group to serve the company’s existence locally or internationally.
Her passion for being a successful career woman never stops this beloved mother of three to be an expertise in Communications industry, especially in Marketing Communications, where she’s excelled to plan spotless strategy to build and maintain the company’s image in public. For the love of study, Yulia Maria has bagged home two degrees to support her career, Bachelor of Political Scientist from University of Pajajaran Bandung, majoring in International Relations, and topped it with Master of Communications Management from University of Indonesia. Not only formal education, Yulia Maria is actively keeping up with the current trends and workshops such as, LEAD (Loyalty, Experience, Analytics, and Digital) Conference by Terrapinn in Singapore, Asia’s Digital Marketing Conference in Jakarta, and Digital Marketing Workshop by SHATEC (The Singapore Hotel & Tourism Education Center).
With more than 15 years of experience in Hospitality industry, Particularly for some various local and international operator hotel management, Yulia Maria has been joining ARTOTEL Group in its early years, helping to shape the company to its creative and art inspired business. Within less than 4 years, all the hard works are paid off, under Yulia Maria, ARTOTEL For Hope (yearly CSR Program) won ‘’Indonesia’s best Sustainability Initiative Award 2019’’ from Mix MarComm Magazine.
Not only that, ‘’Creative Branding of The Year’’ is given to ARTOTEL Group for its ARTSPACE (contemporary art gallery in public space of ARTOTEL) in Editor’s Choice Award from Marketeers Magazine, and many other exciting awards. Not only active incorporation, Yulia Maria set aside some of her time to be one of the committees in BPD PHRI (Indonesia Hotel and Restaurant Association) as Public Relations.
