Swiss-Belresort Dago Heritage Bandung celebrates Indonesian Independence Day by holding a virtual painting exhibition from 7 to 22 August 2021. This virtual painting exhibition is in collaboration with Komunitas Misi Anak Bangsa which is supported by 8 of the best painters in Bandung, such as DJ Rachmansyah, Fuad Fajar Ikhsan, Den Bagoes, R. Asep Berlian, Herru Prayogo, Ir. Bambang Nugroho Widi, Agus Gecko, and Wim Belgium. During the opening of the exhibition, Herru Prayogo, R. For this exhibition, more than 40 works from 8 artists were exhibited in the lobby area, Par 68 activity lounge, and the bar at Swiss-Belresort Dago Heritage Bandung. The virtual method through social media is used during the exhibition. Guests can ask for videos or photos of paintings via Whatsapp +628112331917 or DM at @swissbelresortdago. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of the painting will be donated to charity.

“The decision to collaborate in this virtual painting exhibition will help accommodate artists to keep working even though they are affected by the pandemic. They show the spirit of resilience in an artist, where flexibility and adaptability are essential. The presence of this virtual exhibition in the community seems to be a pioneer in the spirit of the toughness of art workers in Bandung. Many artists are motivated to continue working, implying that art has not died during this pandemic,” added Atika Nurliawati, Public Relations Manager of Swiss-Belresort Dago Heritage.
