HARRIS Day, an annual sporting event to promote a healthy lifestyle presented by HARRIS Hotels, is back this year to celebrate the 19th anniversary of the HARRIS Hotels Brand. This year is the second year that HARRIS Day is held virtually to adapt to the reality of the “new normal”. HARRIS Day 2021 will present several series of activities including; virtual running and cycling competitions supported by various digital activities such as talk shows, quizzes, door prizes, individual and community competitions, and CSR activities.

To support the rise of tourism in Indonesia, HARRIS Day 2021 has the Virtual theme Challenge: Rise and Race, hoping that tourism in Indonesia will recover soon and motivate people in the hospitality industry to rise again. This competition collaborates with 99 Virtual Race, an online sports application platform where participants can do the sports activities by completing a certain distance and time that can be chosen and carried out anywhere in the world. This competition starts from November 25 to December 12, 2021, and is attended by the running community, bicycle community, hotel guests, and the public.

HARRIS Day 2021 Virtual Challenge: Rise and Race will present various competition packages, including Bright, On the Move, Fit, and Community Challenge. Registration is open from September 21 to November 24, 2021, with prices starting from IDR 169,000, including a race pack (e-bib, finisher medal, finisher e-certificate, and door prize tickets). Individual and community participants who have completed the furthest mileage in that period will be the King & Queen winner, as well as the Community Winner.

In addition, HARRIS Day 2021 also offers a ticket bundling package by staying at HARRIS hotels. The ‘On the Move’ package offers a two-night stay with prices starting from Rp. 869,000 net, while the ‘Fit’ package offers a one-night stay starting from Rp. 569,000 net. Both packages include one ticket for a virtual running or bicycle race, race pack, finisher medal. At the end of this virtual competition, each participant will have the opportunity to win various prizes such as holiday packages and other exciting door prizes.
