The construction of Simpang Padalarang Fly Over which connects Padalarang Timur toll gate to Kota Baru Parahyangan has been successfully inaugurated on Friday, November 26th, 2021, by the PLT Regent of West Bandung, Hengky Kurniawan. The length of Simpang Padalarang fly over was 340 meters, and 17 meters wide, with access to entry and exit which consist of two lanes.

The presence of the latest infrastructure in the West Bandung Area further complements and facilitates connectivity between regions, as well it brings a positive impact on the rate of economic growth of West Bandung regency citizens.

Furthermore, with the planned presence of the Jakarta-Bandung fast train station at the existing Padalarang Station, which is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2022.

The rapid development of the West Bandung Area (established in 2007) began to be felt in 2000, with the presence of the development of Kota Baru Parahyangan, as the first and largest satellite city project in Greater Bandung. Many people believe that the progress which has been felt in Kota Baru Parahyangan was supported by its strategic location and accessibility which will now be easier and more complete.

Hengky Kurniawan, as the PLT Regent of Bandung Barat, expressed his gratitude because Simpang Padalarang Fly Over was successfully realized, as an effort to solve congestion in the Paalarang area and its surrounding, Hengky added that Simpang Padalarang was the first Fly Over that was established for 14 years the West Bandung area was located, he hopes in the future that Simpang Padalarang Fly Over can be a way of goodness, and blessing for all of us, Hengky explained that the Fly Over is dedicated for all residents of West Bandung area.

In its two decades of development, Kota Baru Parahyangan has become an independent, civil, and natural city. Various international standard city facilities are complete in Kota Baru Parahyangan, which is currently inhabited by more than 3000 families. Green open spaces were designed since the beginning of development have dominated more than 50 percent of the project area.
