To celebrate National Batik Day that falls on 2 October 2021, Mercure Bandung City Centre presents a Mini Batik Exhibition which will be held from 2 to 31 October 2021. The mini-exhibition, which is displayed in the lobby of the Mercure Bandung City Centre hotel as a part of the Accor group’s year-round program, namely Rediscover Indonesia with ALL – Accor Live Limitless. The mini-exhibition will show batik artworks from 3 batik studios that have collaborated with Mercure Bandung City Centre.

During the mini-exhibition, the art studio will invite guests to learn batik using canting while telling stories about the history of batik in general, and batik from West Java in particular so that guests can get a different experience while staying at Mercure Bandung City Centre. Guests can order special patterns with the typical design of the batik studio, with special prices, and can also directly choose batik fabrics or batik clothes that are being exhibited by the Batik Studio.

Mercure Bandung City Centre also enlivened the Rediscover Indonesia program with ALL – Accor Live Limitless which is presented throughout the year simultaneously in more than 130 hotels in 30 destinations in Indonesia. This program invites guests to apart from staying overnight, to enjoy an extraordinary iconic local experience through four pillars: culinary, arts and culture, wellness and health, and destinations, with products supplied by local enterprises or entrepreneurs or creative economy.
