Forget the hassle of travel documents, jet lag, and a 7 hour flight – now you can experience authentic Osaka in your own city. Start from 13 November – 12 December, Moxy Bandung will bring the wonders of Osaka to Bandung. With Indonesians comprising one of the top outbound travelers to Osaka, Moxy Bandung will recreate signature iconic elements of Osaka and Moxy Osaka Shin Umeda to domestic travelers.

This year has without a doubt been a very unusual one, but we believe we will travel more freely again.”
From the moment a guest books a stay to their check-in and check-out experience, Moxy Bandung will recreate signature experiences and moments reminiscent of Osaka.
Upon arrival, guests will be greeted by our crew in the Japanese style. Guests can also experience Osaka virtual tour at the Lobby and TV channel to add more Osaka vibes and exploring Moxy Osaka Shin Umeda by Instagram Live. For an added layer of fun, Moxy Bandung will have Instagram Live cooking and bartending featuring Japanese signature F&B. In collaboration with No Nihongo Gakuseikai (Bandung’s Japanese Community), Moxy Bandung will have Japanese activation event; Origami, Shuujikai (Japanese Calligraphic Art), and Sakura Taishougoto (Japanese Instrumental Music) twice a month. At The Now Lobby Bar, guests will also have the option to taste iconic street food from Osaka such as Edamame, Yakitori, Takoyaki, and Okonomiyaki.
Reserve “Discover Osaka” package and guests will get complimentary welcome amenities, yakitori platter, Nomidaore Cooler (Moxy Osaka Shin Umeda signature drink), also origami paper where you can create a fun Japanese creative paper folding while enjoying the room. Don’t worry, there’s an origami instruction coming with it!

This pilot campaign will feature 13 hotels across the Marriott International portfolio in Asia Pacific, recreating more than 10 of our guests’ favorite destinations at home from Bali, Bangkok, Seoul, Paris to New York.
