Chef Andi Nuraji, or simply called as Chef Andi, start his culinary experience early as a child. With most of his friends are girls, Chef Andi loved to sneak around on his own parents’ kitchen to get some ingredient for cooking. At first, he never dreamt about being a chef until he found out that his grandfather was a cook during Holland colonial time and also a head chef in Governor house. Since then, he pursued his dream and began his journey on culinary.
Before joining Four Points by Sheraton Bandung, Chef Andi has been in professional cooking and kitchen management for twenty years. The most fascinating moment during his career is when he traveled to Europe and ended up in the city of Ennis County Clare, Republic of Ireland. He also had a chance to explore his skill in another capital city of Dublin. After six years in Ireland, Chef Andi went back to his home in Indonesia to attain more experiences. By a chance, he got an opportunity to work on board in a cruise line by Walt Disney Company in Orlando, Florida, USA.
His commitment to culinary is beyond ordinary. Chef Andi believes that cooking is an art and not something that certified from school. By his love in this industry, he has gained many certificates and awards during his career as well as keep developing his culinary team. As a leader, Chef Andi leads his team by standing beside them and always support them to become the next leaders. With his various experiences and leadership, he is the right choice to lead kitchen team and bring new fresh air to Four Points by Sheraton Bandung’s culinary segment.
