Hawaii’s beloved staple dish successfully captured the hearts of food enthusiasts and foodies in Bali. And now, there’s a new player in town that’s bringing a rainbow bowl of poke goodness to Canggu.

Poke Theory, a new poke bar that recently caught the eyes of both locals and travelers, offers the freshest ingredients sourced from local and sustainable suppliers in Bali. The interior and exterior of Poke Theory might not be as colorful as their bowls, however, it gives off a homey vibe with its rattan chairs and funky murals.

The Hawaiian verb poke – pronounced “poh-kay” – means “part” or “to slice or chop.” This healthy snack is made of the best and freshest ingredients. Select between light, regular, or large portion signature poke bowls off the menu or build your own with signature umami sauce, spicy garlic sesame sauce, or sambal mayo sauce. They also recently introduced a new topping on the menu, Mango Salsa, bringing in more savory, zesty flavors.

The acai bowls come in two sizes, regular or large, in sorbet-like looks, packed with natural nutrients. To quench your thirst, pick between fresh coconut, kombucha, or their refreshing cold-pressed juices made daily in small batches to keep the consistent quality and freshness.

One of the core beliefs at Poke Theory is sustainability, and working towards a plastic-free future. Their take-out bowls are made of recycled paper, and all of the cold-pressed juices are bottled in reusable glass bottles that you can either return or reuse. Not only aesthetic but also sends off a positive message to customers in their fight against plastic.
