Continuing the successful event ‘Archipelagrill’ earlier this year, Four Points by Sheraton Bali, Ungasan presented another themed culinary festival. This time they proudly set the most anticipated smoked brisket and chicken of Riung Rasa that showcased the must-try heritage Indonesian menu of Evolution Restaurant & Bar.
Riung Rasa is a rising haven of everyone’s community, particularly culinary in the south of Bali is ran by a dynamic couple Maxie and Vivi. With their limitless creativity flows as the season keeps the tireless energy to the local dining scene, this time Riung Rasa offered sets of smoked brisket and chicken that were brought to another level.
This KOLABORASA event took place at Evolution Restaurant & Bar on Saturday, 11 September 2021 from 18:00 – to 22:00 WITA. The evening was filled with delectable grills served from Riung Rasa. One of the mainstay dishes was Smoked Brisket that people ran after most of the time. The perfect ripeness, rich in flavor, and tender to perfection that was produced through the 12 hours – slow and low process in the pit smoker. A thoughtful set dish of roasted potato, grilled corn, sambal ijo, and the Heinz’s Mexican gourmet chili with Roasted Jalapeno was the best appropriate companion to this brisket.
Another signature menu that attracted the crowd was Smoked Chicken that was coated in a homemade spice rub, then slow-smoked to be tender and juicy perfection. A careful – 4 hours process was very moist and packed with a delicious smoky flavor. The delicacy of orange rice, steamed vegetable, sambal matah nicely set this dish to its perfection.
For something that earthier, spicy, and a full punch of exquisite flavors, Evolution Restaurant and Bar brought some of the Indonesian staple dishes such as Sate Maranggi Purwakarta, Rendang Nasi Jeruk, Laksa Udang Bogor, and Mie Godog Ayam Jawa. To elevate the local dining experience, Heinz’s Indonesian Gourmet Chili with the Raw Mango flavor was a perfect choice to accompany every meal because it brings the spicy yet tangy and exotic in flavor. Local snacks like Singkong Goreng Salatiga, Tahu Walik Banyuwangi, and also Pisang Tanduk Bakar Ungasan, and Roti Bakar Bandung collaborate with Nestle Milo and Nestle Carnation were also presented.
Bali’s own locally distilled and infused spirit product SABA was also featured. Bali’s well-known mixologist Agung Ari highlighted his signature cocktails using SABA signature cocktail culture that everybody seemed to love to sip. His cocktails were another hit just in time for a more intimate and elegant atmosphere as the evening went by with live entertainment from KING BAZ X YOGA & Friends.
