1. Bali Spirit Festival: Ubud 29 March-5 April
One of Asia’s biggest Yoga Festivals is celebrating its 13th edition: from March 29th to April 5th, 2020 the world is invited to join the conscious yoga event BaliSpirit Festival on the tropical island paradise Bali. During seven days and eight nights more than 300 workshops in yoga, dance, personal development, healing, and martial arts will take place, complemented by day- and night time music, dharma fair and amazing organic food. As in the previous years, the venue will be at Purnati Center of the Arts, surrounded by Bali’s outstanding lush green rice fields and jungle patches, just 15 minutes south of Ubud.
2. Ubud Food Festival: Ubud 17-19 April
With the theme of Heroes, this leading culinary festival in Indonesia will give appreciation to mothers, fathers, grandmothers, and grandfathers who provide food that is rich in history and taste for their loved ones. For its sixth year, the Festival will explore how the diversity of the world’s fourth most populous country plays an important role in its culinary delights. Through special events, cooking demonstrations, culinary walks, food discussions, workshops, masterclasses, music and art performances, film screenings and food markets, these three days of cross-cultural culinary exploration will introduce to the public a taste that goes far beyond rendang, satay, Gado-Gado, and nasi goreng.
3. Semarapura Festival Klungkung: TBA
The festival aims to promote art and culture and tourism potential in Kabupaten Klungkung. Festival Semarapura is held in conjunction with Kota Semarapura anniversary and Hari Puputan Klungkung. Various events are held during the 3-days festival. The program includes cultural carnival, cultural performances, art, culinary competitions, and small business exhibitions.
4. Pesta Kesenian Bali: TBA
The big festival introduces Balinese art and preserves Bali as the main tourism destination in Indonesia. Aside from the parade, various competitions will be held in this event, such as literature competition, handy craft, painting and other parades such as culinary, fashion, ngelawang, ramatari, gong kebyar, and traditional dance performances.
5. Bali Blues Festival: TBA
Bali Blues Festival is the 1st and biggest Blues Festival in Indonesia. Besides the musicians from Indonesia, there’s also will be musicians from around the world.
