Pullman Jakarta Central Park together with Ibu Guru Kembar – Rossy and Rian shared the joy of Ramadan with kids from Sekolah Darurat Kartini at their school in North Jakarta, on Tuesday, 21 May 2019.

The event began with a praying session, followed by greetings from the Director of Talent & Culture, Ratih Yudha and Ibu Guru Kembar. There was also fun games and a talent show from the kids that successfully inspired the participants. After the whole exciting activities, all of the participants were praying together, followed by takjil and breakfasting. Before bidding farewell to all the little friends, Mr. Rhys and Pullman Jakarta Central Park’s team handed over the Eid gifts to the kids.

Every year, the hotel hosts similar corporate social responsibility, not only to the surrounding area but also to other communities and/or organization, and especially for this year, Pullman Jakarta Central Park found that Rossy and Rian (Ibu Guru Kembar) had shown a very strong commitment to elevating the level of education in the country. It is the same commitment with what the hotel does for Accor’s A Tree for A Child, where some of our Pullman staff are teaching several subjects such as English and Mathematics.

Ibu Guru Kembar, Rossy and Rian, have been teaching in 268 schools in all around Indonesia since 1990. They are also the founder of Sekolah Darurat Kartini, a non-profit school for underprivileged children. Not only sharing their knowledge to the kids, but they are also providing a uniform and lunch for them, a truly heartiest gesture which aligns with our CSR commitment.
