Our ES Little scientists had a great fun learning magnetism by making a magnet maze during last meeting. Curious young learners explored invisible force in their world such as attraction and repulsion. Magnets have two poles namely the north pole and the south pole. When two like poles touch each other, they will repel and vice versa. As a result, little scientists noticed that when they bring the 2 magnets come into contact with each other, they will either push apart or pull towards one another.

Not all metals are attracted to a magnet but iron, nickel, cobalt and steel are. In this experiment, little scientists had an opportunity to use their knowledge to guide a paper clip through the maze that they made. Some of the mazes are really complicated and some are just simple ones.
