Bridestory Fair, a curated wedding exhibition from Bridestory, again inspired and helped brides to prepare for their wedding day. Held on 1-3 February 2019 at the Sheraton Grand Jakarta Grand Ballroom Gandaria City Hotel, the Bridestory Fair carries the theme of marriage in 2019 – Modern Heritage, which presented a variety of the latest trends and inspirations of marriage with a touch of Indonesian culture.
Through this theme, Bridestory Fair presented a variety of wedding ideas inspired by the local culture that is packaged in a modern way to help prospective brides realize their dream marriage. “We see elements of adat and tradition still attached and inseparable from wedding celebrations in Indonesia. The theme Modern Heritage is represented by the use of decorative elements, such as wood, rattan wicker, and patterns combined with natural colors, such as beige and light brown,” said Nathalia Isadora, Bridestory Fair Lead Project Coordinator.
This exhibition cooperated with more than 100 wedding vendors from 15 categories that offered a variety of choices and special offers. Some participating vendors, include AYANA Resort and Spa – Bali, The St. Regis Bali Resort, Flora Lines Decoration, AIRY, Iluminen, AXIOO, Yogie Pratama, Merras Bride, Wong Hang Distinguished Tailor, LeNovelle Cake, CAVA PRIVÉ, VA Make Up Artist, Tulola, Miss Mondial, and many more. Bridestory Fair also presented a series of charming installations. Resulting from collaboration with reliable decorators, who appreciate Indonesian culture in modern aesthetics.
